Annabelle Regan is a Principal Project Officer at NSW Health’s Regional Health Division, based on Awabakal Country in Newcastle. She is the project lead for a portfolio of work including the Rural Generalist Single Employer Pathway program, which aims to increase the number of rural generalist doctors working and living in regional NSW.
Working as an ABC journalist in regional South Australia and NSW instilled in Annabelle a passion for working in and advocating for regional communities. She joined the Regional Health Division after working for a cancer clinical trials organisation and Hunter New England Local Health Distinct.
Annabelle has a Bachelor of Communication from the University of Newcastle and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from RMIT University.
